Santa Cruz Free Skool: The Pervert Series: Queer and Trans Allies

Heteronormativity is an invasive species of behavior produced by an insidious system of power. We all perpetuate gender and sexuality norms in some ways but queer folks often bear the brunt of being 'different,' even in radical communities. Realizing certain truths about your oppressor status as a 'straight person' is an important step in becoming a real ally to queer and trans folk.

This is a space to learn about radical queer/trans perspectives and get your questions answered in a respectful, honest environment. Requirements: Non-judgment based intentions and a real interest in confronting and challenging sex-negative behavior and ideas, and supporting and loving perverts.
