Organic Foods at Risk

by vegetable eater
Congress and Senate Bills to be voted in a few days!!

All agricultural food growers will be mandated to use certain pesticides, will be regulated with monitoring, and will be given other chemicals at regular intervals.

This is under the guise of "protecting" us from food contamination. Keep in mind that there are many stages of food processing and transport where food could become contaminated that this measure doesn't even address.

The bills are:
HR 875
S 425
HR 759

They are due to be voted in the next few days.

Contact your representatives ASAP or go to the link below.

p.s
Isn't the white house trying to start an ORGANIC garden on their lawn?

here is a you tube clip from free speech tv about the issue.

This is horrible news for organic eaters but even worse news for farmers, especially farmers that have traditional varieties of seeds. It is of utmost importance for us to have biodiversity in our foods. If we are left with only one strain of seed, then a new virus or disease might come along and kill it, and we are left with nothing.

please send your complaints to congress ASAP!!!!

also this blogger goes into depth about this
