Greetings!

Three Ways To Protect the Delta

This morning, ads appearing in the Sacramento Bee and the San Francisco Chronicle from Restore the Delta are calling on our neighbors to help stop the Delta water grab.

To learn about the ads, and to join in the effort to protect endangered species, to stop the periperhal canal, and to stop the water grab click here http://www.restorethedelta.org/. We have information, talking points, phone numbers, and sample letters that you can use to contact key federal political leaders and administrators to express your opposition to the peripheral canal and your support for protecting fisheries and Delta communities.

You can also use our talking points to contact your state Assembly and Senate representatives to express your support for protecting the Delta from the demands of southern Central Valley water exporters.

In addition, you can also help advocate for the Delta's future by attending a Bay Delta Conservation Plan Environmental Impact Scoping meeting tonight in Brentwood (March 23rd) or tomorrow in Stockton. Click here for location and times of these meetings http://www.water.ca.gov/deltainit/docs/09-ScopingMeetings.pdf. Feel free to use our materials to prepare your comments on the negative environmental and community impacts the peripheral canal would have on the Delta.

Make a Donation

Restore the Delta is working everyday through public education and citizen activism to ensure the restoration and future sustainability of the California Delta. Your general contribution can help us sponsor outreach events, enable us to educate Californians on what makes the Delta so special, and assist us in building a coalition that will be recognized by government water agencies as they make water management decisions.

Restore the Delta is a charitable 501(c)3 organization. Donations are tax deductible.
