There are over 11,000 women imprisoned in California's state prisons.
The majority have survived domestic violence.
Now they are spending years - sometimes decades or lifetimes - in prison.
Free Battered Women presents:
Our Voices Within: Internally Free
Join Free Battered Women & our allies in celebrating the freedom of formerly incarcerated survivors of domestic violence
& to fight for the freedom of those who remain imprisoned
Join the movement to Free Battered Women from prison
