Shutdown MacArthur BART Station

Thursday, April 02, 2009
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Event Type:
Location Details:
MacArthur BART Station
40th Street Between Telegraph and MLK
AC Transit Lines: 1, 1R, 12, 14, 15, 18, 57

The intention is for the impact of this protest to shut down the station! So far, only part of our first demand has been met, and the DA is looking to drop the ball. So we need to stay mobilized to keep this movement alive and to see justice done for Oscar Grant!

The event will start at 4pm sharp. Please try to get there early. MacArthur BART has a large plaza and we will rally at 4 and begin the action shortly thereafter. This is a hugely important station for BART, and its easy to get to, so lets make this a big protest!

I'm glad to see you guys are still at it. I'm going to text everybody to come out to this one! Keep it up. Don't give in to these cops. They keep everybody down and treat us like shit and then cry when we won't come out to support them when a few officers gets shot. We'll get our victory one day. These are all little battles being faught and take time. One of these day's it's not just Bart that gonna get shut down. It will be the entire finanacial system it self under siege by a grown majority of people fed up with the whole system of governance and lie's and deception. All the crooks in big business and and government will fall to their knees one of these days. Were gettin it together. Linking all the issues together and becomeing more effective at it. We will get our revolution. That is what it's coming down to. There are just too many injustices going on all at once right now for people to just remain silent and going on about their business. People's lives are being ruined by bad decision making/greedy decision making and the cops are beating people in order to protect them. The more people that fall into poverty and are faced with the same brutality once they try and stand up, the closer we are to a revolution!

The Time to Stand Up is Now!
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
