"On Feb. 19, after seeing an Internet post about a possible attempt to halt train service at San Francisco's Embarcadero Station, BART sent dozens of police officers to the scene. Above ground, more than 100 San Francisco police officers stood at the ready. But no protesters showed up.

"We don't want to overreact or underreact," said BART patrol Cmdr. Travis Gibson, referring to today's protest. "We're aware of it, and we'll staff to handle it.""
