Total Denial is the story of a historical lawsuit: 15 villagers from the jungles of Burma sue a leading oil corporation for human rights abuses in US Courts. After 10 years of fierce legal battles, the impossible victory.
The New York Times says, "...one thing is unmistakable: Its central figure, Ka Hsaw Wa, is the stuff heroes are made of."
Total Denial has been awarded the special prize for Human Rights of President Vaclav Havel during the One World Festival in Prague (2006). In 1999, Ka Hsaw Wa was awarded the Goldman Environmental prize for his work in Burma.
Funds benefit Filipino/American Coalition for Environmental Solidarity (FACES) and EarthRights International.
