On March 4, 2009, The SF/SPCA is marking its amazing 140 years (980 Dog Years!) of saving and protecting animals with a special celebratory dinner at the dazzling Julia Morgan Ballroom at the Merchant Exchange Building, 465 California Street, San Francisco. The event will also honor the work of CLAW (Critter Lovers At Work), a volunteer fundraising group for The SF/SPCA. MC for the event is Doug McConnell, host of the television series Bay Area Backroads and founder of OpenRoad.TV. Special guest is Victoria Stilwell, one of the world’s most recognized and respected dog trainers, and host of Animal Planet’s hit TV series It’s Me or the Dog. Please join us on this sparkling occasion. Tickets are $250.
