Join us for our February 17 WILPF General Program meeting: “ Act Locally: Strategies for Community Power – local successes!”.
Find out what you can do right now to challenge the power mega-corporations exercise over our lives. You’ll hear about the success some local groups are having in countering corporate culture and learn how you can be part of the action.
Speakers are from Transition Santa Cruz, UCSC Community Supported Agriculture, SEIU, People Against Chemical Trespass, the WILPF water committee, SCPEL, Felton FLOW, Think Local First.
We’ll have free DVDs available about how corporations gained excessive power and why we need to abolish corporate personhood.
