This event will be held at Justin Herman Plaza, 1 Market Street, San Francisco.
Valentine Peace Project is a gathering of people interested in Peace. We will be handing out free carnations and peace poetry on Valentine's Day, Saturday February 14, 2009.Our goal is to create a safe place to express peace. Come offer your expression.
The purpose of the day is simply to share the carnations with everyone (for Free!), create a peaceful environment to induce spontaneous peace talks and simply have a good time.
This gathering will simultaneously happen in Chicago, LA, New York and Amsterdam. Visit http://www.valentinepeaceproject.org for info.
At 6p, there will be a giant pillow fight, http://www.pillowfight.info. This has happened before and it looks fun.
