NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Student Senate Council will hold a regular meeting on February 7th-
8th in Sacramento, California. The meeting times and location are noted below. All Student Senate
Council meetings are held in locations that are wheelchair accessible. Other disability-related

8.8 New System Office Procedures for Student Senate Arrangements (Pres. Young, Ms.
Moore)
The Student Senate Council will discuss new procedures for Student Senate travel
arrangements and claims.
8.9 Board of Governors Finalists (Executive Committee, Pres. Young)
“The mission of the Student Senate for California Community Colleges is to pursue policies that will improve student access, promote student
success, engage and empower local student leaders, and enrich the collegiate experience for all California community college students.”
The Student Senate Council will review the recommendations of the Executive
Committee for the open student seats on the Board of Governors and possibly take
action to forward those names to the Governor’s office.
8.10 Student Representative Appointments (Pres. Young)
A. System Office Advisory Committees – Council will review applications received to
date and possibly take action to appoint student members to committees.
B. Shared Governance Committees – Council will approve recommended
appointments to shared governance committees.
C. Standing Committees – Council will approve recommended appointments to
SSCCC Standing Committees.
