Location Details:
Meet at Old Courthouse Square in Santa Rosa, on Mendocino Ave. between 3rd and 4th Streets. (right downtown). We will then march to the Sheriffs Department which is located at 2796 Ventura Avenue, next to the Courthouse and the Jail.

The October 22nd Coalition Against Police Brutality, as part of a new campaign to ban Tasers in Sonoma County, is organizing a march on Friday, February 13th in Santa Rosa. This coalition includes CopWatch, concerned individuals, and family members of those who have been recently killed by Sonoma County police. We have been collecting signatures to demand that the Sheriff end his departments use of Tasers, after the deaths of two men in just two months, Guy Fernandez and Nathan Vaughn, both of whom were unarmed, posed no physical threat, and died after being Tasered.
Last December 26th, a week after Nathan Vaughn was murdered, the Coalition organized a vigil and protest at the Sheriff's office. This is the next step in our campaign, and it will be followed by many more actions until the Sheriff agrees to our one demand.
We will bring our demand straight to the steps of the Sheriff and we will not leave until he meets with us.

Please spread the word for us! We need lots of help to make this a success.
Bring signs, noise makers, anything you want.

In Solidarity,
Carl, IMPACT!/Petaluma CopWatch
