Another Pro-Israel Guest on Krasney's KQED Forum - The hoax that is public broadcasting

by repost
I'm so sick of public television and public radio pumping out pro-militaristic crap, parroting whatever the Pentagon says, and now blatantly pushing pro-Zionist viewpoints onto the public. This guy was saying that Israel is not a religious state (but the Wahabists control Saudia Arabia and the Mullahs control Iran), that Israel acts morally, that Hamas is the whole problem, and on and on. It was horrible to listen to.

But here's Noam Chomsky on Democracy Now contracting everything said in this program --

"As for the bombing, it was very carefully timed. And, in fact, they’ve told us this. They’ve told us it was meticulously timed for months before the invasion, a very target-selected timing, everything. It began on a Saturday, timed at right before noon, when children were leaving schools, people milling in the streets of the densely populated city, perhaps the most densely in the world. That’s when it began. They killed a couple hundred people in the first few minutes. And it ended—it was timed to end right before the inauguration."

When will Krasney have Chomsky on to talk about Israel?

Oswald's Ghost (#2001H) Duration: 1:25:27 Stereo TVPG
The assassination of President Kennedy in Dallas on November 22, 1963, left a psychic wound on America. Few Americans, then or now, accept that a lone, inconsequential gunman could bring down a president and alter history. Using rarely seen archival footage and interviews with key participants, the program takes a fresh look at Kennedy's assassination, the public's reaction to the tragedy, and the government investigations that instead of calming fears lead to a widespread loss of trust in the institutions that govern our society. (note: the goal, like all PBS conspiracy programs, once again, will be to debunk the "conspiracy theories" and present the psychological explanation for "conspiracy behavior" -- how sad that people just don't believe that a lone gunman is the reason for everything)

Nova[#3519H]
The Big Energy Gamble
The latest public opinion polls show that a vast majority of Americans believe the world is facing a global climate crisis. We are willing to pay more for "cleaner energy" and we want our government to take appropriate action to mitigate the crisis, but we don't have a clue what those actions should be or how the various energy "solutions" we hear about can help.
(Note: this program had a lot of misinformation about alternative energy and highlighted nuclear at every opportunity, ONLY interviewing one CA legislator (R) who was pro-nuclear, cherry-picking a statement by the new UCB energy guy that nuclear is better than coal, and generally creating the idea that putting money into sustainable energy is a big GAMBLE . . . but nuclear has NO carbon costs at all!! Blatant misinformation dressed up as sustainable energy).
