The reason they have people log in is so that non-students don't use Cabrillo's network. They are for students. There is free internet for the community at the many public library locations. Cabrillo in order to keep many programs running due to state wide cut's has had to be more strict. It is not about tracking your moves. If your trying to do something you don't want noticed then Cabrillo's student network is probably not the best choice anyway. Meanwhile I hope you enjoy the world class education from one of the highest rated Jr. Colleges in the country. You should look in to other schools and there policies before you shout from your soap box.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
