MLK Jr Day in Palo Alto
High school students invited to speak in the Palo Alto City Council Chamber said they hoped for freedom from police brutality, amongst other things, and a Raging Granny wore a "Oscar Grant is my Son" sign on her chest. The ceremony recognized community volunteers and remembered Martin Luther King, Jr. for his message of hope.
Dr. King said, "subject and verb do not need to agree" but one can still serve the community and fight for justice. This busy indybay reporter takes solice in that.
