Oscar Grant March from Fruitvale BART, Oakland, 1/7/09: photos
A few hundred marchers leave the rally for Oscar Grant at Fruitvale BART and stream onto International Blvd headed for downtown about 5:15pm.
These photos end before the march approached Lake Merritt BART station. Not long after passing Lake Merritt BART, a goup of people attacked a police car, riot cops released tear gas on the march, and hours of stand-offs with police, and cat and mouse through the streets of Oakland, began.

This was a crime and tragedy against innocent life not only in United States, but in all over the world. Here in my country we are all shocked by this crime. I believe that peoples in your country fight for justice about this cops crime. The justice don´t can suport something like that. Absurd! It was a really shame from United States Police.
