This is a national day of protest with actions across the United States to stop the US/Israeli war on Gaza. The Israeli government has escalated its constant attacks on Gaza into a ground invasion. Hundreds of Palestinians have been murdered and thousands wounded. The bombs are being dropped on schools, homes, ambulances, tunnels, places of worship and more, all paid for with US tax dollars to the tune of $15 million a day, $6 billion a year. That is why we have no education, no housing, no healthcare and no pensions; we cannot have guns and butter. The ANSWER Coalition, Free Palestine Alliance, Muslim American Society Freedom Foudnation, National Council of Arab Americans and Al-Awda-International Palestine Right to Return Coalition call on everyone around the world to attend all protests to show solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza and demand an immediate end to the murderous attacks carried out by the US-backed Israeli military.

If someone needs to come late, is this going to be at Civic center the full time, or are they going anywhere?

"Israel claims it is attacking Palestine to defend itself? This is a joke! Israel defend itself? Does this sound like defense? Palestine doesn't even have an army, navy, or air force ---they have nothing but people throwing sticks and stones trying to defend themselves. Palestine is impoverished and a third world country compared to Israel. Israel has one of the most advanced military operations in the world. Can they not just kill Hamas if they wanted to? Does their great technology not allow this? Do they need to send in tanks, military planes, and a ground invasion against a country that doesn't even have a military? Do they need to attack UN schools where where Palestinian civilians are hiding (read more here)? Former US President, Jimmy Carter. states in his book that "Israel's 'apartheid' policies are worse than South Africa's" (read more here). Israel has always suppressed Palestine and has always wanted to attack Palestine. Palestine is a small impoverished country cut off by Israel from the rest of the world."
