SF Copwatch collective is in coalition with several human rights groups and im/migrant service orgs in the Bay Area and everyone is invited to participate. We consist of: Cop and ICE watch teams that conduct street patrols several times a week, a Migra Rapid Response network that alerts & creates protests against ICE on our streets, “Know Your Rights" and Cop/ICE watching trainings and educational forums, a 24 hour hotline number to report ICE sightings and police misconduct and printed material that includes relevant legal info and helpful contacts.

To participate in our Migra Rapid Response network: Call 415.595.8251 to report ICE foot patrol or vehicles and any check points. Also send your yr cell # to sf_copwatch [at] yahoogroups.com so we add you to our text network that will alert and invite everyone to protest the ICE. We will bring banners, bullhorns, noisemakers, fliers and more to both protest the ICE and warn people of their presence. Please specify that you want to be added to the Migra protest list and/or receive SF Copwatch updates, (we won’t contact you for any other purpose or give out your info).

Our aim is to create a deterrence to both ICE patrols on our streets and police misconduct and brutality against the poor and people of color. Repression against the poor, people of color and im/migrants will likely increase during the economic depression; please participate in this very important defense organizing.
Only together can we create REAL sanctuary!

We also appreciate any donations, including bullhorns, banner material, cameras, etc.
Most importantly, we need more members to be successful in this very important defense work. Thank you. (And remember to check the Indybay.org calendar for updates).
