HAARP and 9/11

It is incredible how they try to link HAARP - an atmospheric research project at the University of Alaska whose only connection to weapons is that it is located where a former Cold War radar transmitter site was located - otherwise, it is pure academic research - ask your local neighborhood HAM radio operator about what role the ionosphere plays in radio transmission over long distances and then you will understand more about HAARP than either Moret or Nichols.

It is rather typical of both that they try to weave things together just so that they can get attention. There apparently are no programming standards on COOP Radio - so Moret is a frequent user of their air or are they internet waves - she talks a great game and she knows that genuine experts don't bother to listen in and won't be permitted to comment so she can snow the listener with scientific mumbo jumbo.

What kind of science does Moret know? If you are going to listen, you are entitled to know. Moret has a 40 year old BS degree in Geology with no known work or academic experience as a Geologist, yet calls herself a "geoscientist" because she has this degree. Moret did study Geology at the graduate level and contributed to a paper based on Doctor Jonathan Stebbins, now Chair of the Geoscience Dept at Stanford University, 's doctoral research. I presume she was of some help in his geochemistry experiments and measurements, but they had nothing to do with uranium or radiation and just happened to use the lab facilities at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Moret also worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory for less than a year and left there nearly a decade ago. No, she was not a "nuclear scientist", but rather what appears to have been a computer lab technician as a Senior Scientific Technologist in the Center for Applied Scientific Computing. Moret claims to be a Yucca Mountain whistleblower. There is no evidence to support that claim. Moret never filed an appeal with the Department of Labor nor did Moret ever provide any documentation or testimony to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. A search of their ADAMS on-line documentation system reveals a signed postcard and two groupthink letters, three whole documents, not what you would expect from someone who has dedicated her life to being opposed to nuclear power or depleted uranium. Moret served as a member of the Community Environmental Advisory Commission, which does give the honorary title of Commissioner, but she was one member of a nine member commission that met about two hours per month and she was removed from the commission because she did not attend enough meetings. That's the real Leuren K Moret of Berkeley, California - self-proclaimed expert in many things and actual expert in none of them. Four documents in the DUStory files show you the letter from Lawrence Livermore about her employment, the letter from the Berkeley City Clerk about her being removed from the Community Environmental Advisory Commission, an article about Jonathan Stebbins receiving a prestigious award in Mineralogy that mentions his paper and Moret as one of the contributing authors and the analysis by a genuine expert in radiation measurement devices about Moret's theatrical stunt with the Gamma Scout Meter in Hawaii that was broadcast on KITV and all over the net. No, Moret and Nichols can not long be shunned by the limelight. They just have to be out there craving the adoration and applause of scientific know nothings who just eat what they say up. You Indy readers, though, are more astute than that.
