Help out the People's Bailout event in Modesto!

Hello! Hooligans with Modesto Anarcho Crew are organizing an event in mid-January (set on Saturday, Jan 17th) entitled the People's Bailout. This event is not associated with any of the calls made by the unions or other groups, this is organized solely by us. We know that capitalism and the government will never help us, it exists only to exploit us as workers and use our labors to prop up the rich's position of power and privilege. As working class, poor, and oppressed people living in these hard times, we must help each other and we must come together to fight back against these conditions of poverty and repression in order to move beyond this class society. The factory occupations in Chicago and the current insurrection in Greece shows the power of a class united.

The PB event will feature:

1.) Free grocery and food giveaways.
2.) Music and poetry readings.
3.) Workshops on the foreclosure crisis and squatting.
4.) Literature tables from Modesto Anarcho and others.

We expect this event to be big and bring in many hundreds of people if we can get the media to cover the event and if our supporters are out in force to get people to come out.

There are several ways that you can help us!

1.) Gather fruit from fruit trees in your area before the event. Get extra food from work or by dumpster diving at various businesses. This is where we need the most help.
2.) Come out to meetings promote through this site and help us organize the event.
3.) Spread the word among your friends about the event.
