Rays of Hope Shine on Prop 8 Protesters

Saddened at the passage of Proposition 8, banning same-sex marriage in California, demonstrators Monday night were nonetheless hopeful that it will be invalidated. Palo Alto neighborhoods were full of *No on 8* yard signs before the November 4 election. On November 10, Demonstrators lit candles as the sun set on a busy intersection near Stanford University.
