Consent & Sexual/Intimate Violence Workshop: Video Screening, Potluck, and Discussion!

We will be watching "The Politics of Rape" from the Introduction to Feminisms Taping Project at UCSC as an introduction to Sexual/ Intimate Violence and to set the context in which we will be examining and analyzing Sexual Violence throughout the following workshops. The film covers issues such as violence against women in a patriarchal framework and it's intersection with other forms of oppression, the historical and global context of rape, an introduction to rape culture and society's views, misconceptions, responses and contributions to that culture.

**Please remember: you don't have to attend all workshops in order to be able to attend.

Requirements: Please bring a potluck dish to share and please try to be on time.
