Once relegated to the margins of society, pornography has become one of the most visible and profitable sectors of the cultural industries in the United States. It is estimated that the pornography industry's annual revenue has reached $13 billion. At the same time, the content of pornography has become more aggressive as well as more overtly sexist and racist. The film features the voices of consumers, critics, and pornography producers and performers. It paints a nuanced portrait of how pleasure and pain, commerce and power, and liberty and responsibility are intertwined in the most intimate parts of our sexual identities and relationships. (Warning this video contains explicit sexual activity, language and violence.)

Don't kid yourself: porn hurts all women. It is used to stimulate rape, brutality, pain and murder. It turns women into a product. It helps the slave trade.
END PORN NOW!
END PORN NOW!
I just went to a talk by an anti-porn feminist, and I was struck by how much the author who spoke did not see women as actual people who make their own choices in life. To anti-porn feminists, women are always victims. That is why we need to rescue them, whether they asked to be rescued or not. I find that attitude to be paternalistic.
Anti-porn feminists also will not admit the fact that many women feel empowered by working as exotic dancers, porn actors, or prostitutes.
They also do not differentiate between real coercion and economic coercion. Everyone needs to do something to make a living. That does not mean they are coerced. By not distinguishing, you create public policy that makes matters worse for people.

The fact that this movie about the porn industry contains violence has me seriously questioning its objectivity. All of the porn that I have seen over the last 20 years in both video rentals and on the net is non-violent, with one exception of a lame plot that depicted pirates "capturing" female porn stars. Even that plot was painfully transparently consensual sex, if only because the acting was so poor. I suggest that those who attempt to portray the porn industry as portraying violence against women are not watching hard core xxx porn, but instead are relying on popular movies' depiction of the violence that such women endure, in such movies as Pretty Woman and Total Recall. Grit your teeth and actually subscribe to a real porn site before passing judgment on the porn industry.
Child pornography is really big now.
Think of the implications of seeing children as sex objects, rather than our future and little beings we have the privilege and sacred trust to nurture.
The ruling elites are also into this in a cult way.
We could go on and on with this - "Beauty queens" - the recent murder of - Loan Nguyen - the previous murder of JonBenet Ramsey - - - - -
