Eyewitness Reports from Radical Women’s Conference—
“The Persistent Power of Socialist Feminism”
Thursday, November 13, 7:00pm
An opportunity to solidify the decisions and campaigns that came out of the momentous October 3-6 assembly. Those who missed the gathering will hear of the dynamic international panels, speeches and workshops by immigrants, women of color, unionists, queers, and working women—young and old. People who attended can report on workshops or favorite sessions. We’ll discuss ideas for how Bay Area activists can help strengthen the international, grassroots socialist feminist movement in the midst of Wall Street’s melt-down.
Come early for a hearty supper ($7.00 donation) served at 6:15pm at New Valencia Hall, 625 Larkin Street, Suite 202, San Francisco. Five blocks from the Civic Center BART station, and on the #19 and #31 Muni bus lines.
Everyone is welcome. For more information contact: 415-864-1278, CalRadicalWomen [at] yahoo.com, or check out: http://www.radicalwomen.org
