George Mann, producer and creator of the "Hail to the Thief!" anti-Bush CD compilation series, announces the release of "Farewell to the Thief!", the final CD in the 4-CD collection. The compilation CD features some of the nation's best-known folkartist, such as Tom Paxton, Utah Phillips, Anne Feeney, Magpie and more.
This raucous collection of funny, powerful and poignant songs was created by Mann and his musical partner, 92-year-old Julius Margolin, in 2001. The 4 CDs have touched on all aspects of the Bush years, and the final collection begins the process of looking forward and repairing the damage done by eight years of Bush/Cheney neglect, incompetence, and law-breaking. Check out the music online and come on out for great live music!
Thanks, George Mann
