Western Civilization: Oppression or Emancipation?
Ward Churchill will debate neocon spokesperson Dinesh D'Souza at Stanford.
The event is sponsored by teh Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI) which claims to promote "individual liberty," the "free market economy" and the "values, customs, conventions, and norms of the Judeo-Christian tradition" without which "society induces its decay by embracing a relativism that rejects an objective moral order."
Come see what these "values" really mean.
Given the sponsor and subject of the debate, the rightwing will be out in force - let's make sure other perspectives are represented.
