Council candidate Jay Cobrera passed on the info.
The 1 1/2 hour debate will take place after a screening of the U.S. Presidential Debate (between the two "Bail Out the Billionaires" War Party bozos only--no Naders, McKinneys, Bob Barrs, or real alternative people allowed).
I have not seen confirmation of the debate in the Scent-Anal or any of the other local rags. Jay says he'll be there. His interview on Free Radio Santa Cruz is archived at http://www.radiolibre.org/brb/brb081005.mp3 (download and go past the first hour of the show).
