It's probably the most important judicial ruling regarding peace and justice in the Middle East that you've ever heard about.
In July 2004, the International Court of Justice (ICJ), also known as the World Court, rendered a landmark opinion in favor of Palestine on borders, the Wall, settlements, and Jerusalem, which are all final status questions on Israel's occupation of Palestine. Come hear Prof. Norman Finkelstein and Prof. John Dugard discuss this landmark opinion to create a just and peaceful resolution of the Israel Palestine conflict. Professor Finkelstein is a professor of political science and author of several books on Palestine and Israel, including "Beyond Chutzpah." Professor Dugard is a professor of international law, and has served on the UN's International Law Commission, as an ad hoc judge at the International Court of Justice, as the Special Rapporteur to the UN Commission on Human Rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
