Pacifica Hires Lemlem Rijio as Permanent KPFA General Manager

Dear KPFAers --

I am very pleased to announce that Lemlem Rijio has accepted the position of GM of KPFA!

Lemlem has shown courage and resolve leading KPFA, and during very challenging financial times for Pacifica, has kept the economy of KPFA strong without spending down reserves, but holding steady.

She has a strong and practical vision for KPFA, that I know, with your support, she will implement and help KPFA continue to be the beacon flagship station of the network!

Today is my last day as Executive Director. It has been a challenge and a pleasure to serve, brief as it was!

I thank you all for your good, solid work.
