I was in the library when this happened. There were a bunch-o-police in the library just waiting for the protesters. Suddenly, a few protesters ran in and were immediately stopped. A few of the other students in the library started taking pictures of them and a few of the protesters were just shouting, "Don't take any pictures!" and trying to cover up their faces. Moral of the story: If you wanna stage an effective protest in a building like the library, don't advertise a week in advance that you're going to be doing this.
I thought the protesters did a good job on voicing their opinions about the truth of the military recruiters, and the consequences that the U.S. government never mentions. I didnt know people went into the library though. thats interesting...
There were no students in the library. The person that posted saying we went into the library is misinformed, I believe they meant to say gym. It is possible this person wasn't at the protest or just made a mistake.
Nobody ever went inside the library. And nobody ever tried to get it.
