Disabled Seniors Threatened by "Thousand Trails/Naco" RV Park
Many Disabled Senior Citizens spent their retirement nest eggs on private RV Park membership contracts that the company is now in serious breach of, & actively persecuting & harassing elders who are suffering from major health problems.
There is a national RV Park private membership system that has been operating for over 20 years, using the title "Thousand Trails/Naco", & selling contracts to many retired Senior Citizens, promising basic services that are not being provided in full.

In their Soledad Preserve, nestled in the high desert foothills of the Los Angeles Antelope Valley town of Acton, California, a man has been sent to cause members such great upset as to threaten their health & mental well-being.
It is a very large resort, & was one of the best in the system, but it is now in such a terrible state of disrepair that many toilets do not even flush properly.
Reports have it that most parks in other states are suffering the same fates, & very little is being done.
There was a recent takeover by a company that has long been associated with the system, & now appears to be hell-bent on driving the current members out, in order to revamp the preserves to accommodate more of a public resort agenda.
Besides the toilet problems, electric service is often shoddy, & there have been cases of small fires caused at the receptacles.
Water service is occasionally interrupted for hours to do insufficient patch-work on some problem that arises.
Large tree branches fall on some vehicles from time to time.
Gophers are allowed to destroy many lawns.
Their head of recreation is allow to play perverted music loudly at the children's pool, & spend dues money on holidays that reflect his heritage, while neglecting the important days of most other ethnic groups.
It is an absolute atrocity that needs drastic addressing immediately.

They closed the entire Park last Winter, & tried to do shoddy repairs all over, instead of simply closing section by section, & concentrating efforts to complete any project sufficiently.
The results were disasterous, & returning members, already angry about the closure, were furious to see the terrible state of almost everything.
Most problems are still in need of attention.
They are rumored to be planning the same sad stunt for this Winter, & should be forced to use their vast resources to have experts do the jobs right, & quicker.

One of the very first things that the guy did upon arrival, was to tell the member workers who try to keep children out of the Adult Pool & Lodge that they could no longer do that.
He said that he was a "trouble-shooter", sent by the company to address the many issues raised in the slew of letters of complaint to their cororate office, but he did absolutely nothing but cause trouble the entire time that he was here.
He did not get a spring put on the door of the Ladies Room at the Adult Pool cabana, so people in the hot tub can still see inside.
He did not get a bulb put into the roof fixture of the TV Room of the Adult Lodge.
He did not get a coat of paint put onto the walls of the Adult Lodge. ( The wall decorations were removed last Winter, in preparation for the job. )
He pushed his own Bible Study event into the Adult Lodge on a busy evening, & would not move it to a night when the room was mostly empty, or to a room that is mostly empty.
He threatened to call Security on anyone who would not leave the room, said that he was the manager, & could go to any park & change any rule.

They are not only terrible to the disabled, anyone that has paid for their membership and are just paying yearly dues, they want out. They want the good people out and the druggies and deadbeats in. There are over 6 campsites that they deal drugs from. What happened to the food? Went there a couple times and loved it and now nothing. The electrical was terrible and there are no trees up there but the phone service was good. I don't think I'll go back there till new management does something. Wilderness is so much better
Its rumored that there is a "class action" lawsuit in the works. Has anybody heard of it or do you have information regarding such a suit? Who are the attorneys handling it, etc.? It's time for the members to GET INVOLVED and start fighting back over this "takeover" and the blatant misinformation being used to "sell" to new members.
The complaints being registered with various entities are overwhelming.
I'm a 15 year member and a fulltimer. My investment is being sifted out from under me like sand through a sieve. I want to do whatever I can to put a stop to the roughshod overrunning of the membership.
The members that are here on extended stay are required to move their RV's every 6 mos. in California due to the Homesteading Laws. Two members were due to move 9/1/08 and as of today still have not moved.
They were also kicked out of Valencia Travel Village RV Park in Valencia, CA for mis-managing and/or destroying the operations of that park. Now they have moved in here at Soledad and have been caught stealing, are running the restaurant, harassing people and claim to be qualified to do the jobs they are doing.
In my opinion, when the woman was caught stealing, she should of been escorted off the park with strick instructions not to set foot on the property again.
The tress in B section were cut during the park closeure by the man and if you've seen them you would know what I mean by not being qualified. The father is suppose to be a refrigeration but nothing ever works right.
Their names are Marlene Powell, Dave Thompson and Al Thompson if there is a class action suit, I want to know about it because I have proof of misconduct and am very interested in getting involved.

Ran thru a number of southern California parks. Was really good when 1000 trails was private membership . Camping but when it went to els properties got involved oh well out with the good and in with the bad . No problems till then , ripped off in every park batteries tires truck messed with . Trailer too . Saw alir of retired people having problems after the public was let in . Promos is one thing breech of contract another poor excuses all you get from staff and company management . Hope they sleep well when members pull out all there rigs . And let them twittle their thumbs . Nothing more than push people out and take over their contract get them when they are old or injured . Rippoffs some nice people too .versus terrible conditions . Herded from park to park . Big problem contracts every one that has one was broken by els thousand trails. Lose the membership at these parks I'll go back to us forestry parks. . Or boon dock teach them don't use their parks and the y won't have any income . Make them fold. Stand up too them . They pushed myself and family from the park . Good times happy camper. . Or as one of the rude and very self centered hosts says it and remember this you will know to leave imediately
