Tell Gov. Schwarzenegger to Do the Right Thing for Animals!

AB 2427 would prevent local governments from passing animal welfare laws specific to their communities. If it becomes law, this bill will hurt future protection efforts and overturn West Hollywood's current ordinance banning veterinarians from cruelly declawing cats. Please take action to urge Gov. AB 815 will give the California Department of Fish and Game full authority to adopt laws or regulations regarding fish and "game" (that's how they view land animals!) in California. AB 815 will negatively impact the ability of local governments to protect their citizens, companion animals, and wildlife. Please take action to urge Gov.
