Curated by Anne Trueblood Brodzky, DeWitt Cheng, and Art Hazelwood
With special consultation by Peter Selz
September 4 - November 4, 2008
Opening reception: Thursday September 4, 6:00 - 9:00 PM
We are excited to announce the opening of our upcoming exhibition, Art of Democracy: War and Empire, a group political show featuring over 40 artists, part of a nationwide coalition of artists and venues organizing political exhibitions in the run up to the November election. There is an exciting schedule of related events planned, including an 8 week-long history of anti-war film series, concerts, a Norman Solomon lecture, and a book signing by political cartoonist Pat Oliphant. Please see our website for more information: http://www.meridiangallery.org.
