Obama Exposed: The Forces Behind Barack Obama's Campaign

Date:
Monday, August 11, 2008
Time:
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Event Type:
Teach-In
Organizer/Author:
Wendy Snyder
Location Details:
Temescal Library Community Room, 5205 Telegraph Ave, Oakland

The Uhuru Movement has been in the international news recently challenging the presidential campaigns, in particular, Barack Obama's campaign of so-called "racial neutrality" which does not address the conditions in the African community in the U.S. http://www.inpdum.org

We will listen to a presentation made by African People's Solidarity Committee Chairwoman Penny Hess sharing research on Obama's funders and advisors. This program gets to the heart of what is at stake in the 2008 elections: the continuation of this parasitic system resting on exploitation and genocide, with a seemingly kindler, gentler, African face.

Learn about the work of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement and Uhuru Foods to organize political and financial support for the African community programs of the Uhuru Movement.
