THIS MONTH – IMPACTING THE DIALOGUE ON ENERGY

John McCain is promoting offshore oil drilling, “clean” coal technology, and new nuclear power plants.

On a grassroots level, we worked with MoveOn.org to hold protest rallies across the country, highlighting McCain’s ties to the oil companies and calling for clean energy.

This month our Santa Cruz MoveOn council is sponsoring a training on writing letters to the editor. We’ll meet and brainstorm our own letters on issues we care about. We’ll also discuss swing state writing.
