In response to the call out for a national day of mobilization against the construction of I-69, we in Santa Cruz exhibit our solidarity with those in Indiana and throughout the country who are directly resisting this destructive expansion. Let our humble banner fly as a sentiment of our appreciation and love for all creatures alive enough to face the machines of industry that would bury us under their concrete.

May we wake each day with strength and determination knowing that there are others, many others, fighting the manifestations of capitalism.
Trust: Your struggle is our struggle and banners are but the ominous clouds that hint of the awaiting storm. Let these simple words fill your hearts like the rains cool your skin after days of heat radiated from unforgiving asphalt.
Solidarity: Like the fables of old and forgotten times, we are much more than a sum of bodies, our strength increases along lines of expression and connection, with no end in sight.
