Protest McCain coming to Nob Hill TONIGHT! Our only chance.

Date:
Monday, July 28, 2008
Time:
5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Event Type:
Protest
Organizer/Author:
pat jerrel
Location Details:
Fairmont Hotel, 950 Mason Street, San Francisco

Protest John McCain IN PERSON this evening outside the Fairmont Hotel at Mason and California. McCain may not stop by SF for the entire rest of the campaign, so this is likely to be our ONLY opportunity to tell him and his media entourage exactly how San Francisco feels about his warmongering policies. Peace Action West/No Soldier Left Behind will be there (http://www.groundswellonline.org/groundswell/2008/07/mccain-is-in-sf.html) as will MoveOn (http://www.mayburritoville.com/pacifica_riptide/2008/07/john-mccain-the.html). But come one, come all -- independent citizens and any other groups are encouraged to show up as well. McCain is supposed to arrive ca. 5:00pm, but the protests are scheduled to begin at 5:30 and run for an hour or two. Let's make some noise!
