Oakland City Council President Pro Tem Jean Quan and Western States Legal Foundation cordially invite you to view a very special exhibit provided by the Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation. Many photos of people, places & things effected by the 1945 atomic bombings will be on display in Oakland City Hall rotunda: -- August 1st thru 15th, 2008 -- 1 Frank H Ogawa Plaza - 3rd floor Opening Reception: Friday August 1, from 5 to 8 pm Special guests: Nagasaki A-bomb survivor, Nabuaki Hanaoka Deputy Chief of Staff to Mayor Ron Dellums, Leslie Littleton Alameda County Supervisor Keith Carson Wine and light refreshments For more information: (510) 839-5877 -- This event is part of 'Nuclear-Free Future Month' on the eve of the 63rd anniversary of the U.S. atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
