4th Tues. Films: Faubourg Treme, The Untold Story of Black New Orleans

This film takes viewers through one of the oldest black neighborhoods in America, the birthplace of the Civil Rights movement in the South and the home of jazz. The film is a reminder that society still confronts the same battles that the residents of Tremé have waged through two centuries - demands for economic justice, voting rights, equal education, and decent public services.
