Laborfest: Film: 9/11 Dust and Deceit at 9/11 Inside Job NY Site

Date:
Wednesday, July 16, 2008
Time:
5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Event Type:
Screening
Organizer/Author:
Location Details:
UA Local 393 Training Center 780 Commercial St., San Jose

The 9/11 Inside Job, made obvious as it happened with no air defense and the controlled demolition of the Twin Towers and Building 7 at the World Trade Center, is now a toxic site that has poisoned and killed many members of the clean-up crew, as we saw in the movie on the failed state of the American health care insurance system, Sicko. Today, we have a movie on the environmental disaster at the NY site of the 9/11 Inside Job, which hopefully, combined with Sicko and a serious labor movement effort, will result in universal free healthcare for all who live in the US paid for with our tax dollars, as exists in the rest of the industrialized world.

Special Screening and Presentation by Film Maker Penny Little and Injured 9/11 Iron Worker John Sferazo
5:00 P.M. Food and Beverages
6:00 P.M. Film Showing of 9/11 Dust and Deceit at the World Trade Center-A film by Penny Little
7:00 P.M. Special Guests Film Maker Penny Little and injured 9/11 Local 361 Iron Worker John Sferazon who is co-founder of Unsung Heroes Helping Heroes

The impact of the environmental disaster after the 9/11 Inside Job will continue for years. The health of those who were exposed to the toxic dust and told that the “air is safe to breathe” and the continuing cover-up of the problems has not been adequately reported in the mainstream media. Those who were most affected are often the least able to get the help they need.
