U.S. divides old parcels and names new ones - aims at capping the Shipyard but lets us see

by Francisco Da Costa
The United States Navy has divided the old Parcels and named new ones at Hunters Point. It is now trying to hint that capping the whole shipyard is the way to go. Way back in the year 2000 over 87% of San Franciscans demanded that the whole shipyard be cleaned to residential standards. Well, be must stick to that. The City and County of San Francisco has a Precautionary Principle on its books - let us stick to that. In fact - if the U.S. Navy polluted the Shipyard - then it is mandated to clean it up. The U.S. Navy and Senator Diane Feinstein must remember that the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard - is a Superfund Site.
At the recent Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) meeting held at 1800 Oakdale on June 26, 2008 - the United States Navy hinted that the time has come to cap the whole Hunters Point Naval Shipyard.

It came to this drab conclusion after testing one Parcel and finding that test were too vague or too inconclusive - according to the U.S. Navy"s explanation.

The U.S. Navy should conduct a through test on Parcel E2 and see if it comes to that conclusion - and if a through clean up is necessary on parcel E2 - then the same follows for the rest of the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard.

So far only one Parcel has been conveyed or handed over to the City and County of San Francisco - who is turn handed it over to the SF Redevelopment Agency - who is turn handed it over to the Rogue Company - Lennar.

The SF Redevelopment Agency has no standards and has been banking the Lennar Corporation and still wants to bank this rogue company. Lennar has poisoned our children - with adverse impacts - resulting from poor operations and lack of safety on Parcel A.

Senator Diane Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi, Mayor Gavin Newsom, other cronies all despicable and lacking a moral compass - are putting pressure on the United States Navy - to cap the rest of the parcels on the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard - so that homes and a stadium can be built.

Money can be made by the crooks - greed. The Pacific Heights Mafia is backing is backing them up.

Why should this City build home on the worst toxic land in the City of San Francisco? The Hunters Point Naval Shipyard has been declared a Superfund Site.

Only the worse of the worst toxic land and sites are put on the Superfund Site for through cleanup. Hunters Point Naval Shipyard is one of the ten worse sites in the Nation.

When Parcel A was conveyed the Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) under the Co-Chair Lynne Brown and its members - the RAB members refused to sign on this conveyance linked to Parcel A. The Advisory Board did right - and Mayor Gavin Newsom did wrong.

So far Mayor Gavin Newsom has not said a word about the poisoning of our children. He is talking about other things and events. But, on this one MORAL ISSUE - the harming of our children he has said not a word.

I have posted some photographs and you will see a Parcel named G - where the proposed stadium is slated for. This is a new name for the Parcel.

Then you will see another parcel D1 and so on.

The dividing and naming of parcels within the old division is creating a mix-up but that is what the politicians are aiming for - confusing the populace and trying to hoodwink those that are monitoring the situation at hand.

We have documents going back to 1976 and before linked to Hunter Point and adverse impacts. And in recent times a group of us have been very vigilant.

We have documentation about Depleted Uranium, lead, mercury, cesium and other radiological and heavy metals - spread and buried all over the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard.

The Muwekma Ohlone the First People of San Francisco have exercised their Right of First Refusal on Hunters Point Naval Shipyard yard. I had to remind the United States Navy about that.

I also had to remind the United States Navy that the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard has NOT been archeologically surveyed as mandated by Federal Laws and Regulations. Time will tell.

In the mean time Lennar - the Rogue Corporation has NO money and has defaulted on Parcel A. It has poisoned our children and the frustration is growing in the community.

In the meantime Mayor Gavin News and Diane Feinstein have been pussyfooting around.

Screwing around with hoopla and other mundane stuff and not exercising their powers to represent the people. They have no compassion for our children.

Shame on these scum bugs and when some one tells the truth we meet with opposition.

But, hello - we will be in their face and we will make sure we tell the world - these so called representatives are a disgrace to the human race.

No homes should be built on Hunters Point - unless it is totally cleaned up to Residential Standards. We want the watershed cleaned. We want the area to be as pristine as it was - when the "thieves" stole the land from the First People.
