"Victory cake"?

Did Code Pink win a war?

The whole notion of "victory" rather than "peace" is warped, even militaristic.

You don't win a peace, you win wars, i.e., victory

It's bad karma to have a "victory cake" at a peace demonstration.

So the term "victory" should belong only to the right wing? Letting one group own a word gives them a lot of power.
Words like "winning" should be outlawed? In that case, I guess checkers and all card games would need to be banned.

You do indeed win the peace, and that happens when you dismantle the war machine and its manufactury. Have you not heard of the peoples war to end all wars. Code Pink is indeed a peoples movement to put an end to lying imperialist wars of resources and empire. It indeed is the resistence to unjust wars and illegal violence. It is the American peoples revolutionary resistence and it is here to stay. If the peoples peace programme which 70% and more of the American people supports wins and victory takes place for the American armed forces in liberation struggles against the U.S. Empire, then indeed victory will triumph and the worlds peoples will have something to celebrate. Pacification of the peoples liberation by declaring winning and victory as nothing to seek is only confusing the meaning of the words in English. The people do want and justly so a great defeat to the lying murders of millions of innocent peoples globally by the WMD emploid against themselves for wrongheaded reasons. Viva the liberation of the worlds peoples from U.S. Imperialist military aggression, which is illegal by the anti-fascist Geneva Conventions of War signed on to by the Canadian and U.S governments , but betrayed by the Bushco. International treaties are said by the U.S. Constitution to be a supreme law of the land. The Geneva Conventions points out that the U.S. Military is guilty of these three most obvious war crimes, 1) the targeting and killing of civilians, 2) the torturing and killing of prisoners of war, 3) collective punishment such as shock and awe, the bombing to rubble of hundreds of villages, towns, and cities throughout the worlds holyland, because the peoples there abiding have decided to use armed struggle against the illegal invasion and occupation of their countries , which the Geneva Convention of war have declared legitimate and entirely legal. When will the defeatist illegal and unjust wars of aggression by U.S. Imperialism indeed lose and admit their criminality to the world. Victory to the American Resistence , down with imperialist lies and useless re-conqoring wars. Long life to the worlds peoples resistence, and just fight against the Imperialist aggressors, the source of all modern wars in todays world.
