Jewish Voice for Peace hosts Jeff Halper, director of the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD)

Since founding the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions ( in 1997, Professor Halper has spent the past decade resisting Israel's policy of demolishing Palestinian homes. In 2006, Halper was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. He has served as a professor of anthropology at Haifa University and Ben Gurion University.

Halpers new book, An Israeli in Palestine: Resisting Dispossession, Redemming Israel will be available for purchase.

The event is endorsed by the Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalists' Social Justice Committee.
