The Fresno County Peace and Freedom Party will have its next meeting on July 9, 2008 in the Sarah McCardle Room of the Fresno County Central Library located at 2420 Mariposa Street, Fresno, CA 93721. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m.

This will be the first meeting of the newly elected Fresno County Central Committee (CCC). Business will include the selection of the new Chairperson after which the CCC may consider any additional members to the county central committee.

Upon conclusion of the business of the CCC, there will be a roundtable discussion of the Peace and Freedom Party State Convention on August 2/3 in Sacramento and the selection of the Party's candidate for President.

The San Joaquin Valley will be sending four voting delegates to the convention - three members of the Fresno County Central Committee and one member of the Madera County Central Committee.

The roundtable discussion will give members of the Peace and Freedom Party the opportunity to discuss and consider the candidates and how the nomination of any particular candidate may affect the future of the Party.

For more information about the candidates, please visit the Peace and Freedom Party website at:

This meeting is open to the public. The Fresno County Library is wheelchair accesible.
