Last week-end to catch the remarkable play "I" The Impeachment Trial of George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney in SF at the ISA Theatre, 655 DeHaro Street. This World Premiere played to SRO audiences opening week-end and will do the same this Friday and Saturday night when it closes.

When Justice John Roberts calls the Senate to order in the impeachment trial of George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney, he unleashes a battle of titans. With everything on the line, the most powerful legal minds in the country lock horns over whether the President should be removed from office for "high crimes and misdemeanors".

As the apparently incontrovertible evidence of Bush and Cheney's guilt piles up from witness after impassioned witness, you'd be a fool to bet on W.

But in the second act, the President himself testifies and pulls out all the stops, delivering a speech calculated to tug at our heart strings, telling us everything that we as Americans want to hear.

He correctly indicts a complicit Congress of being just as guilty as he is, while the prosecutor argues passionately for conviction. In the end, it's up to each individual to decide where the truth lies.

"It will have you on your feet clapping and cheering" "Intelligent and inspiring" "

Don't miss this last chance to view the World Premiere play that has thrilled audiences. Written by consititutional lawyer Bruce Fein who authored the impeachment articles for Clinton and Nixon, this script sparkles with intelligence and urgency. A world-class ensemble of actors and director Ray Whelan bring a level of excellence to this performance and leave one feeling inspired and exhausted. Bring everyone, for this piece speaks to every American regardless of party!! Bruce Fein is a Republican! As he remarks in the first act of the play, "our very republic is at stake", and even if there are only five minutes left in the administration, it will not be too late".
Catch the fever. Spread the word.
