Over 13,000 people in Darfur were displaced during the month of February of this year. That breaks down to 19 people an hour, every hour for 29 straight days.

Domes for Darfur is an attempt to send some much needed yurt dome tents to one of the largest humanitarian groups opperating within the already swollen refugee camps around Darfur. As part of our event we are pleased to have Director/Photographer and Activist Mark Brecke screening his new documnetary "They turned our desert into fire". The showing will start at 2pm and Mark will take some questions afterwards. This offers an amazing opportunity to student, teachers, activists, and any anyone in general to learn about what is really going on in Darfur by someone who has been there.

There will be not only information on ways you can help to end the genocide in Darfur but there will be music, dance performances, auction, and a reception as well.
