Pro-Peace Festival
sponsored by the Pro-Peace Movement of UCSC
Thursday, May 29th, 12-4pm, Kresge Town Hall, UCSC
The Pro-Peace Movement of UCSC will be putting on a Peace Festival dedicated to the question "What does peace mean to you?" We will be having various speakers from Santa Cruz and the Bay Area speaking on their respective notions of peace, how they strive for it, and how we too can make a difference. In addition, there will be performers such as spoken word artists and musicians. Throughout the whole event will be organizations representing their causes and how others can get involved. There will be free food at the event and the event itself is free.
