SEIU Struggles and The Fight For Democracy
The SEIU is the largest union in the United States with 1.8 million members and it is now wracked with an internal crisis and a struggle within and with the California Nurses Association CNA/National Nurses Organizing Committee. In this program we will look at what the issues are within the SEIU, the issues that SEIU UHW will be raising as well as S.M.A.R.T. and what this means to the membership. We will also look at the upcoming SEIU convention which will be held in Puerto Rico at the beginning of June 2008.

TV 54 every Wednesday 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM and St. Louis cable systems on on cable ch. 22 in the "City" of St. Louis Fridays at 9:00 PM The Labor Video Project also produces labor documentaries and is part of the Union Producers and Programmers Network (UPPNET) http://www.uppnet.org
