The 2008 Palestine Awareness Week is right around the corner!

Palestine Awareness Week is a program put together every year by the Committee for Justice in Palestine to bring about political and social awareness to the ongoing struggle and oppression of the Palestinian people.

RIPPLES CROSS is the astounding video record of Mark's journey into the heart of the Mid East conflict, where he and other activists confront Israeli troops at the Palestinian border, attend local rallies and protests, and are caught off-guard on a quiet city street when gunfire erupts all around them.

Dudin will be giving a performance about a variety of issues which affect the Middle East, ranging from his reflections about the Palestinian struggle to his time in Iraq and Afghanistan as an Arab-American soldier representing the 82nd Airborne Division.

Palestine Awareness Week officially kicks off tomorrow, Monday May 19th! It all starts in the Quarry Plaza at 11AM and will last until 3PM. Please be sure to stop by and check out what CJP has in store for UCSC.
