Video of Klamath River Tribes Protest at Diamond Store in Omaha
This video is of the protest organized by women from the Yurok, Karuk and Hoopa Valley tribes of northern California during a cocktail party at the Borsheims Diamond Store, owned by Warren Buffett, on Friday, May 2 in Omaha Nebraska. This protest was held prior to the Berkshire-Hathaway meeting the following day, where a coalition of tribes, fishermen and conservationists challenged Buffett and Charles Munger to remove four Klamath Dams, owned by Berkshire Hathaway subsidiaries PacifiCorp amd Mid American Energy, before a crowd of 31,000 people in the Quest Convention Center. In contrast to last year, a number of shareholders expressed support for the coalition. The Klamath Salmon Media Collective produced the video.
